The Garden House

Dominated by a large chestnut tree this previously uninspiring garden was transformed with a smart new entrance and courtyard flowing into a garden designed to be viewed from the conservatory.  Pleached hornbeam was used for privacy and to give structure to the garden whilst box lined beds overflowing with loose and relaxed planting gives seasonal interest.

The Poolside Garden

Mass planting of ornamental grasses and perennials softens the new swimming pool and poolhouse with a glazed fence for seamless views from the house and structural planting to anchor it all in place.

An Entertaining Space

A small terraced garden transformed with a muted palette of cottage style planting and small fruit trees to soften the new entertaining area which flows seamlessly from the house.

The Welsh Farmhouse

A garden on it's way to maturity with new hedging introduced to loosely divide the ornamental mixed borders filled with roses, perennials and grasses from the new orchard where the grass is left to grow long and the wildlife abounds.  The vegetable garden has a strong linear layout but relaxed feel with flowers allowed to seed freely.
